Amazing place to learn latin dance in Charlotte. RW are wonderful teachers. They are extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, detail oriented and friendly. They teach most of the classes themselves and their classes are always top notch quality. The studio is very clean and spacious. The student community is also welcoming and chill to hang out with.

We went to their studio in Charlotte, followed their workshops in dance congresses and took private lessons from both. Wendy and Rodrigo’s salsa class was absolutely incredible! From the very first class, they created such a welcoming environment. RW is the best place in CLT to grow as a dancer! I started dancing salsa and bachata at another dance company in Charlotte. After a few months, I went to a dance event out of state and quickly realized that the caliber of training I’d been receiving at that first studio wasn’t helping me improve. That’s when I started taking classes at RW. In a little over a year, I went from struggling in intermediate classes at that first big event to feeling comfortable in advanced classes. Rodrigo and Wendy started building the Latin dance scene in Charlotte over 20 years ago, and as competitors have opened up around them, they’ve stuck around for a reason. They’re strong on technique, but they also care about their students, the community they’ve built, and making sure everyone leaves their classes feeling like they both learned something and had fun.
